Fundamentals of cellular/molecular biology. Chemistry of proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids. Applications to biomedical engineering. Function/dynamics of intracellular structures and differeniated animal cells. Emphasizes application of physical/chemical fundamentals to modeling cellular/subcellular processes. Lecture/lab.
