Sachs Research Group

Two post-doctoral positions are available in the Sachs lab. Experimental and computational biophysicists, and molecular and cell biologists are encouraged to apply. Work in our lab offers a unique opportunity to expand your skill-set (experimentalists to learn computation, computationalist to learn experimentation). Young scientists with technical expertise in both areas are rare and highly sought in both academia and industry. Only candidates with a strong publication record should apply. Dr. Sachs will prioritize your career-development and goals in helping to design a set of research goals. Research areas include Parkinson’s disease (alpha-Synuclein) and Cancer (TNF-Receptors). Please contact Dr. Sachs jnsachs@umn.edu with a CV if you are interested.
